    The sphere of life for the Ainu people was centered in Hokkaido and expanded to Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands within which they developed their unique culture through trading and exchange. This exhibition features a variety of items, including their decorative clothing and accessories, mattings, and ceremonial swords and quivers crafted from a combination of materials such as wood, metal, and deer horns. The exhibition also showcases colorful and brilliant works by contemporary artists.

    * The ticket is good for the admission to the second floor (closed from 31 January to 13 February) and the Film Theatre on the third floor. (Exceptions may be made for special events)
    * “College students” refers to university, junior college, and technical college students, and excludes other categories such as research students, auditors, and credited auditors.
