What are giant robots? This exhibition traces the history of the design and visual representation of giant robots in anime, such as Tetsujin 28 (1963), Mobile Suit Gundam (1979), and Super Dimension Fortress Macross (1982), while focusing on the “mechanism” and “size” that defined the reality of these giant robots.
